Where we bring people together.
From CFO roundtables and compliance workshops to the community events our team loves, this is where clients and partners connect with us.
Two kinds of gatherings
Business sessions
Benefits strategy briefings, compliance updates, PEO-exit workshops, and CFO roundtables. Practical, senior-level, and worth your time.
Community events
The clean-ups, hikes, and get-togethers our team genuinely shows up for. Because we’re part of this community, not just working in it.
Upcoming events
Our SSA Hiking Series is BACK!
We’ve officially rolled out all the dates for this year’s hikes and trust us… you’re going to want to be part of this.
From coastal views to great conversations, these hikes have become one of our favorite ways to bring people together outside of work, to move, reset, and genuinely connect.
Whether you’ve joined us before or you’ve been meaning to come out, this is your sign to make it happen this year. The schedule is live!
Open invitation always: friends, family, colleagues… everyone’s welcome.
Check out the full schedule on our website and start saving the dates.
We’ll see you on the trail.
SSA at the 2026 San Diego Heart Walk
This year, we’re joining the American Heart Association for the 2026 San Diego Heart Walk — and we’d love to have you walking with Team SSA.
On Saturday, September 19th, we’ll be gathering at Balboa Park (6th Ave & Laurel Street), with arrival at 6:30 a.m. and the walk beginning at 7:00 a.m.
The Heart Walk supports work that reaches well beyond a single morning: funding cardiovascular research, expanding CPR education and training, and building healthier communities across San Diego County.
For a firm built around employee health and wellbeing, this is a cause that sits close to what we do every day. Supporting the health of the people our clients employ doesn’t stop at plan design.
The invitation is open to everyone — colleagues, friends, family, or anyone who’d like to spend a Saturday morning giving back and getting active alongside our team.
Bring your people, or come meet ours.
We hope to see you there.
SSA 6th Annual Beach Clean-Up
Join us for one of our favorite traditions of the year: our 6th Annual SSA Beach Clean-Up.
On Tuesday, August 11th starting at 4:00 p.m., we’ll be gathering at Carlsbad State Beach (between Towers 37 & 38) with a shared goal: to help leave our coastline cleaner, healthier, and waste-free.
This is more than just a clean-up, it’s a chance to come together as a community, spend time outdoors, and make a small but meaningful impact on a place we all get to enjoy.
The invitation is open to everyone. Colleagues, friends, family, anyone who wants to be part of something positive is welcome to join us.
After the clean-up, we’ll keep the good energy going with a casual happy hour at 5:30 p.m., a time to relax, connect, and enjoy the company after a job well done.
Bring your energy, your people, and your commitment to making a difference. We’ll take care of the rest.
We hope to see you there. 🌊🌿
