Giving back is part of who SSA is, not a marketing afterthought. We live and work here, our clients are our neighbors, and we think a benefits firm should be as invested in the community as it is in any account.

Where you'll find our team
Annual beach clean-up
Each year, SSA brings together our team, clients, friends and families to help clean up Carlsbad State Beach. What began in 2021 has become a yearly SSA tradition and one of our favorite ways to spend an afternoon doing something good for the place we call home.
Quarterly Quest hike
A few times a year, we trade our desks for the trail and head out for SSA’s Quarterly Quest. It’s a chance to explore some of San Diego County’s best hikes, get moving and spend time together outside the office. Clients, colleagues, friends and family are always welcome to join the adventure.
Community & nonprofit service
Our involvement extends beyond SSA-sponsored events. Members of our team serve on boards, volunteer their time and lend their expertise to local organizations and causes, including the American Heart Association, Shelter to Soldier and the San Diego Food Bank.
